Getting a bit worried about Nabs approaching me from the rear. Aren't we all mate, aren't we all... Sorry for forgetting the other games chaps, I had it in my head that because there's only one game being played today that was it for this week, I've still got two Newcastle and an Everton player to play as well so this could be the catalyst needed to pull away at the top.

this could be the catalyst needed to pull away at the top. You've scored the least points this week thus far. Need better than that to "pull away at the top" However, I can't talk too much - I'm the only other player thus far with under 20 points, got rid of Johnny Heitinga as he's frankly been pants with only 2 points all season. Replaced him with West Ham's Winston Reid, who is both cheaper and considerably more awesome. Time to get pulled back near the top :-) I also took the 4 point hit to bring in Jaaskelainen to replace de Gea, who seems to have gone down the Heitinga route. Bring it on now folks :-)

OK, now for the final update to this weeks' games, if there's a god damn Wednesday game I'm going to cry. There's been a shuffle towards the bottom of the proverbial pack, with Nabs somehow jumping into fourth place claiming a beefy 44 points, only one behind the top score of the week which goes to Ryan Black with 45. I got the least points with 25 and Campbell also got a measly 26, which closes the gap on the two of us at the top. 45 points separates first from last, so another good week from you boys could see Campbell's reign as top dog overthrown. Potentially by Nabs, he says as hell simultaneously freezes over. Here are ze scores for this week: Campbell's Cavalry - 190 The Assassin's - 179 McMahon's Magicians - 172 Team Name (Nabs) - 163 Storme Troopers - 158 RB Stars - 148 Assy Bites (Kane) - 145 *edit* Oh yeah, teams! What are yours for this coming weekend? I decided to play my wildcard and not lose four points, bringing in West Brom's Foster for Arsenal's Sir Chesney. Krul's out for the rest of the month apparently and Sir Chesney is too hence the change. I also brought in Franco Di Santo of Wigan as Aguero is still injured, he looks set to play in the Champions League this week so chances are he'll miss the weekend's game. I'm probably going to lose a lot of points seeing as I'm playing Evra against Suarez and Mertesacker against Toure, here's hoping at least one of my defenders scores to even it out a little. That's also why Shawcross is sitting one out this week, and next week I'll likely replace Distin as he's barely playing for Everton this season and when he is it's badly.

Well I had moved 3 ahead of Assassin after yesterday's match, but I've done a couple of transfers so that is likely to move me back a place or two by the end of this game week

80 points this week. Bingo. Well so far this week I'm up to 2nd, but the fact you have 19 points more than me so far means you are racing away with it at the moment. Wait until I've unleashed my secret weapon - you'll be running for the hills begging for mercy Geordie boy

Indeed, there have been a number of changes this week - McMahon as mentioned is up to second ahead of me and Storme moves ahead of Nabs. Campbell had by far the best week with 80 points (Storme was second best with 65 and mcMahon third with 64) and succeeds in extending his lead for yet another week, but it's very close in the middle of the table so other than Orton's continual breakaway every week seems to be seeing a considerable shifting. Here are ze tables: Campbell's Cavalry - 270 McMahon's Magicians - 229 The Assassin's - 224 Storme Troopers - 223 Team Name (Nabs) - 204 RB Stars - 184 Assy Bites (Kane) - 175 OK, teams for next week boys! I can't decide whether to play Mertesacker or Cahill in defence as they both play each other, I know full well the player I don't choose will score more points. This week I substituted Everton's Distin for Fulham's Hangeland, and if Suarez continues to be a cheating-diving-can't-hit-the-broad-side-of-a-barn mongoloid he'll be gone next week, but he's in for now as he should surely score against Norwich.

Thanks to that Suarez hattrick I'm now back up into second place, pushing McMahon down to third. Other than that there are no changes this week, although Campbell's lead has been cut slightly after claiming the second-lowest points total with 28. Here is the table, with this weeks' poitns in brackets:
Campbell's Cavalry - 298 (28) The Assassin's - 272 (48) McMahon's Magicians - 262 (37) Storme Troopers - 255 (32) Team Name (Nabs) - 240 (40) RB Stars - 223 (39) Assy Bites (Kane) - 199 (24)

We still have a game to go before the auto subs go in. Nothing spectacular will happen but I'm getting an extra handful of points which is always nice at the top ;D
