I subbed to the WWE Network recently out of curiosity and began binge watching WCW Monday Nitro. Started with the first episode and worked my way up, Pay-Per-Views included for the full effect. Currently at World War 3 1995 since I just started watching a couple of days ago. I caught a beautiful piece of irony said by Sting as Hogan abandoned the black attire (yes, he wore all black even before nWo) for the red and yellow.
"And the black is gone forever!"
Me sitting there, "MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Hogan without a mustache is horrifying. But question for you all.
The Yeti, great gimmick, or the greatest gimmick?
Discuss.

Haha, I was just thinking "wasn't The Yeti that dude who looked like a mummy?"
Greatest WCW gimmick for me would have to be The Shockmaster. Obviously you've seen the footage as this was in 1993, but that was a classic.

The Shockmaster couldn't lick the Yeti's bandages.

I'll agree with that, he spent exactly 65% of the entire gimmick on his face.

Renegade was WCW's best creation and its best failure. Nuff said.

That's a weird way to spell nWo.
