Just noticed this after comparing the boxes for Final Fantasy games, like so (European first, then US): Also: It's as thugh we Europeans like to keep things simple, yet you guys like characters plastered all over the boxes.

Yea, that is strange. Maybe they made the covers different so it would be easier for them to notice if the game was a US version or not.

I think the US covers are better. Especially for the Final Fantasy games (of which I have both). Why would you want a plain white cover with text? That's lazy.

I prefer the US covers in most of those examples but I like the European cover to Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes too.
