I think this might have some future To start, what are some signings you usually do? Also , what are some players you recommend to top/mid/low teams? I usually sign Vrsaljko off Croacia Zagreb for 1.2M€. Very good DR and cheap, which will value very much. If he makes 2 great seasons, you'll have a potential value of around 14-18M€ to sell, which is great. I try to always ensure I'm able to sign on approach Ongenda (PSG), Fierro (Chivas) and Yuri Mamute (Gremio). Joel Valencia (Zaragoza) and Lucas Ocampos (River) are also other 2 players you're able to offer contract that are a won bet for smaller teams. Anyway, for regular first team, I usually try Vrsaljko (as i've mentioned), and keep and eye on Ait Fana (Montpellier) and Camporese (Fiorentina) . 3 players that can fit in any team. They're, at least, good enough to be a sub in a team like Real or Barça, and they're very well enough to be first team player in teams like Benfica, Valencia, Everton, Liverpool and Juventus. For big teams, I usually try David Silva, Akinfeev and Chiellini , I cannot lie As for lower teams I truly recommend some free players that are available for free, like Stelvio, Nelson Rivas and Regattin, and also asking Rogelio Funes Mori (FW - River) for loan and trying Gaston Monzon (GK) who is very cheap, as well as Mphela, Modise and Moriri (all of Sundowns), although they're more demanding, but definitely WORTH IT (!) if you can get them

I normally start with Man Utd but never get more than 2-3 years and get fed up with the ammount of debt I run up because I always pay in 48 months installments meaning you get 4x your actual transfer budget. Signed Gotze, Kagawa, Hazard, M'Vila, Sakho, Hummels, Hulk and Cristiano Ronaldo (for a bargain 60 million as he had a falling out with his manager ) in the space of like 3/4 seasons in. I think you can imagine just how much in debt I was by the end of that. I did win a lot though

The best players I've got recently for mid to low level teams is David Bentley for £2 million and Michael Owen for £600,000. They've both been great for my Fulham team.
I used to always go for Hugo Lloris (as Nabs originally recommended as it happens), but now he's as good as real life as he is in the game he'sa bit expensive.

Yes , Bentley is a good capture but I only trust him defo first team for lower teams, like Birmingham, Wigan, etc. In Fulham he'd be sub (near first team though) . I also quite like to buy Bentley when I play in east european countries, like Russia, Ukraine ...
Owen is must-buy for lower teams on the 2nd season as he'll be available for free, and he has great attributes. But yeah, on the first season he's also a good capture and I've actually bought him once for Dortmund and he was a regular first team player, scoring some nice amount goals , but I never seem to like having him as first team choice in mid-top teams (Dortmund was really the exception).
Lloris is overrated in the game, in my opinion. Joe Hart or Adler are much better.

Bentley made my first team at Fulham due to me having absolutely nobody who could play naturally on the right wing, and Owen did indeed come in as backup but ended up scoring something like 7 in 10 games between January and July so I made him a first team regular.
Lloris might be overrated now, but I used to buy him back in the days of FM06 and 07. I think he was still a teenager then and you could get him for about £5 million, eventually he'd develop into the best keeper in the game.

Lloris was a great buy back in the day, have to admit up to FM12 I did still buy him though but now I have De Gea. Another great buy is a Brazilian kid called Oscar who I think you can still get for fairly cheap, not sure in FM 12.
As you said, Owen is a pretty good player for lower-mid table sides. Welbeck is a great poacher in the game, if you could get him on loan or even sign him, I would definately recommend it.

Yes, Oscar is great, i lvoe that dude.
I also remember in 2011 you could buy Lucas Moura for like 8M€, which was his release clause, and that dude's a machine. In FM12 it's set as 40M€ something though.
Thumbs for Badelj as well, that dude plays bomb. can be bought for 4.1M€ in the first season and then be sold for around 17M€, just after 1 season

I'll recommend for only mid looking to make it big; I'd say this player you will find him in your maybe 3rd season - 4th he is basically an easy pick and has a release clause of 5 million. Ruben Larrinaga; he is one of the best Attacking Playmakers in the game if you use that formation, he has been one of the reasons of my success.
Kyle Walker is also a very good addition, he is one of the best right backs you can get and I didn't spend much.
Jordan Ayew becomes a Beast, so buy him at all cost lol.
Curtis Davies would be a nice addition for any level of your club his stats do not look as nice as he plays trust me, the center back is awesome, and wouldn't cost much

Kinda looked it up and have a general idea lol imma buy it once the new one's out and give it a shot Well, I guess you can say that, but playing Football Manager is a little more complex, I think. Well, my 13 yo cousin started playing FM this year and has learned stuff about it (although there's much to learn than the basics), so I guess you'll learn it well. Plus, I think you can set up FM to give you tips, to start also, you can check out some Youtube videos. There's usually vids explaining and such
