ALAN & PETE PLAY
A friend and I like to play video games. We were playing one day and laughing hysterically at the ridiculous situations we often found ourselves in, and one of us turned to the other and said "dude, I love you," or it may have been "dude, we should start recording this," one or the other, and that's how Alan & Pete Play was born. With a new catchy name that was the result of hours of brainstorming we set out to make some (hopefully) entertaining videos. We've done Grand Theft Auto, Dying Light, Rainbow Six Siege and The Forest among others, with many more to come. Despite our passion for gaming we are utterly useless at it as you'll quickly realise, but that's what separates us from the pack - we've not into trickshots or perfect laps or taking anything too seriously, we just have a ton of fun and share our misadventures. Grand Theft Auto is definitely our main game of choice, and recently we put together a montage of our 'greatest hits,' quite literally - this is 10 minutes of us being killed, run over and generally making fools of ourselves, and is a good starting point to show you what we're all about. We also have a blog over on Wordpress, where we post our videos along with game reviews and general thoughts and opinions on video games in general, so please feel free to check that out too. You can also follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to keep up-to-date with everything we do, the links are all at the top of this post. I hope you guys enjoy some of our stuff, as always opinions are very welcome.

Love the video you included in the post, nearly fell from my chair laughing. I almost lost it at the part where (I'm going to guess Alan?) was hit with the blades from the helicopter xD. I went ahead and subscribed, I'm going to check out more videos .

Thank you Justin, and yeah Alam hit the rotors, that's me nearly dying of laughter.
Apologies for the language as well, in a lot of videos, particularly later ones, it's censored.

Trust me, I died of laughter too . I don't mind the language, but I did notice you started bleeping them out. Sometimes with a car horn, which confused me as I kept asking myself "Who the hell keeps honking?" but than I figured it out, lol. Still trying to watch them all, but really enjoying them thus far, just got into watching your "The forest" playthough.

Haha yeah I tried experimenting with different censor sounds as at certain points the beeping is near constant, but it didn't get good feedback so I stuck with just beeping in some and leaving others uncensored.
Hope you're still enjoying them, that first Forest video isn't spectacular as we were learning the ropes for a lot of it, the second most recent one is a lot better in my opinion.
As for new content, we'll have an Orcs Must Die! 2 video up within the next couple of hours. /cheapplug

I think you shouldn't censor language, to be honest, you'll gain a more mature fanbase who'll enjoy your humor.

Enjoyed the forest, it's a game I've never heard of but looks pretty fascinating so might have to pick up a copy at some point. I've never head of Orcs Must Die! so I'll definitely check that out. I'll be honest though, the GTA stuff is my favorite thus far .

I'll be honest though, the GTA stuff is my favorite thus far Honesty is always appreciated, the GTA videos are definitely the most fun to do due to having very few limitations, with stuff like The Forest it's sometimes hard to be entertaining when all we're doing is building a wall for three hours so we regularly go back to GTA just because it's so much fun for us. I came up with Supercock due to the freedom that game provides, I write the scripts for that when I'm bored at work. And yeah Gui the language is definitely best left uncensored but it throws up a few problems - my 11 year old son likes to watch what I do and so do his friends, so I have to be a little careful as I don't want angry parents coming after me. The uncensored videos are age restricted but again that causes the problem of reduced viewership - a large percentage of YouTube viewers are 16 and under, and certain videos of ours are monetised for a little income (which we don't have yet due to being largely unknown) so YouTube don't like too much swearing. It's a tough one to solve in short, so we keep a little of everything, the latest one is unedited for example. It also cuts the editing time by about two hours sometimes!

I understand, that makes sense, but to be honest I'd really enjoy if you did both versions then , one with a "*uncensored*" warning and age restricted , and the other as you're doing now. Just a suggestion though you probably would be a pioneer haha.
