This is finally sort of like an 'official' topic, for those who have the game or are about to get it. It was released today in North America and on Thursday or Friday everywhere else, so some of us hopefully have it and some of us are about to.
So, discussions ahoy, obviously please mark your spoilers if you need to post them.
I don't have the game yet being a UK citizen, but waiting another couple of days for a game isn't a bad thing as back in the SNES days us Brits often had to wait several months after the US got a game to play it. With that in mind I have but one question - are match and title histories in the game? I ask because they haven't been since Here Comes The Pain, and I really want to see how many times my Superstars and CAWs have won each title over the course of their careers.
Also for those who do have it, what's it like?

Getting it Friday but I did go online to read reviews and most sites are giving it great reviews which is a positive in my eyes. I also went online and looked at a few features and the gameplay from youtube and it seems amazing . Gameinformer gave it a 9.0/10.00 and also have a video of them playing it which looks real nice. They have definitely improved the sounds. I am mostly looking forward to attitude era mode and the video archive, nice to relive the good old days I am really looking forward to it and can't wait till Friday

Won't be getting it until Christmas (since Black Ops II is the number one game I'll be getting as soon as possible ) but like Justin, I'm waiting to get my hands on it for the attitude era. According to the reviews, it looks pretty amazing and is apparently a lot better than WWE 12. To answer your question Assy, appariently the title history is indeed available according to this.

Thanks for the replies guys, that link is pretty much what I'm after but it looks like it only lists the most recent 10 title holders - it's good enough for me, but I was really hoping for detailed stats like Here Comes The Pain had. I did read somewhere that a ridiculous amount of detail is in there, like how many times you've broken a table or dented a chair over someone but I'm not sure if that particular post was a joke or not as statistics that in-depth seems a bit much. Ah well, my copy's almost certainly going to come tomorrow. ;D

How's the CAW options? I ask because of late, I haven't seen long hair for males that I actually like and feel right for how I imagine my character. I'll probably get this, not as soon as it comes out, probably later in the year, or sometime next year. Even though I haven't been into wrestling as I have been, I did get WWE 12, enjoyed it pretty much, took a while to get used to the new control system (seriously, at first it f**king confused me), but I am excited with WWE 13, can't wait to get it and play it.

I have to go to work in a sec so I can't type too much at the moment, but from what I've tinkered with CAWs are more or less identical to last years' game. Everything from the screen layout to the order of the clothingwhen scrollikng down to choose what to wear seems to be exactly the same as before.
To be honest I'm really enjoying the game on the whole, the Attitude Era thing is fantastic in particular and the Universe Mode looks a lot better. Saying that it still feels too similar to WWE 12, they've tweaked the controls slightly but to me it feels more like a minor update than a whole new game in a lot of ways. Obviously I need to play it more as I've only put about 4 hours into it, but on the whole I'm pleased with it.

Is there still road to Wrestlemania? If so who are the wrestlers that have their stories? Or did they replace it with the Attitude Era gimmick?

I don't think there is a rtwm anymore but I saw from a video that the attitude mode has a wrestlemania storyline. I get mine at 10pm after work .

Alright, I liked the RTWM, it was basically the story mode of past SvR's bound to the most important part of the wrestling year.

Heh, typical.
But yeah the Attitude Era mode is the main storyline this year, but it is really good. I haven't finished it yet but it more or less covers the entire era - from DX's beginnings in 1997 right through the the early 00's.

Kind if wish they went to 2002 with the invasion storyline would have been cool.
