Probably a long shot, but does anyone play this game? I've put about six hours into it over the past few days, and it really is a fantastic game. It's absolutely HUGE as well, in the six hours I've played I've barely made it out of the first town because there's just so much to do and the map is enormous. What I like about it is it's very different from the first game - in Guild Wars 1 people would hang out in towns and you'd simply put a group together and go questing, and once you left the town it was simply you and your group in the open world so it didn't have that MMO feeling I was hoping for. In Guild Wars 2 that's all changed, the entire world is populated by real people. What I like about it although there are still quests to do if you want to the bulk of the game is made up by random events - if you're near one you're notified, and then any other players nearby also join in and you help each other out to complete the task. I personally love this approach to the game as you can play alone when you're not feeling sociable and jump in and help people out as and when you feel like it. There's also standard PvP and some sort of 'world battle' which I've yet to bother with, I think it pretty much pits people from each server against each other somehow. So yeah, if you play let me know, if not you really need to. There are no online monthly fees either.

I'm thinking of getting it, though I've yet to reach level 90 on WoW. With the pay once thing, is it the only time you pay when you buy the game, or you buy the game, then pay again when you're making your account?

The only time you pay is when buying the game. I think you can hand over real money for in-game items if you want to but I haven't really looked into that yet, plus as far as I know it's nothing you can't get for free with a bit of effort anyway.
