That topic title probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense, so here's the plan: www.channel4.com/programmes/the-plane-crash/articles/online-check-inClick on that and log in through Facebook, and pick a seat number on the flight. The TV program itself airs on Thursday, and the idea is you'll see if you would survive the crash if you were in the seat you chose. Anyone who survives will get one karma each. I've gone with seat 11a. To give this a bit of discussion rather than a load of posts simply stating your seat number, what do you think of the idea of crashing a plane to see what happens?

Great topic I've gone with seat 22C for the record, and shared it on Facebook. I think the idea of crashing a plane to see what happens probably irritates the hell out of the economists of this world who will probably see it as a senseless waste of finances and general resources. On a safety front, if it helps avert disasters in future or even saves lives on even a tiny level then I think it's a fantastic idea. Personally, watching the thing crash should be fun as long as there isn't anyone in it at the time

Nah, it's not that extreme/ From what I've read two real pilots are going to set the plane to, erm, 'crash mode' for want of a better description before bailing out, I think the passengers are represented by crash test dummies so I guess the experts will then be able to tell if a human would have survived the crash based on the state of said dummies.
