Awwww, sucks it keeps freezing. I've just gone through my entire roster, with the exception of JBL and Gangrel (who were there when I started) everyone on the roster earns about $100 per appearance. Edge earns, erm, $4,000, so I've definitely gt no chance of surviving long. That show earned me about $250 for the attendance and maybe another $50 on merchandise, so yeah I'm boned. Time to leave CWE I think and rethink my financial strategy.

Of course now that you put the company into bankruptcy time to book it out of there ;D , sounds like something I would do on purpose . --- 3 weeks before Wrestlemania and AJ Styles decides to go to rehab , Angle vs Styles was my top draw too -_- , looks like I have to rethink the main event on short notice.

Luckily for you Angle can have a great match with just about anyone, so hopefully you won't lose too much by having AJ in rehab. But yeah I'm out of there now, I'll keep tabs on CWE to see how they're doing though. Chances are they'll release Edge along with Mick Foley ($3,000 per appearance) and Jeremy Borash ($2,500), along with referee Andrew Thomas who at £1,200 per appearance earns more than 10 times most of the roster. Heh, that's a mistake I won't make twice.

I lucked out and got a job with TNA after simming the game for a while, that was too tempting an offer to pass up. I'm currently getting rid of the proverbial deadwood - Brooke Hogan, Garret Bischoff and a few other backstage workers who have no real point in being on the payroll.
I want to do a feud with Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles but that would involve turning one of them heel which I don't want to do right now, so I might give AJ and Kurt Angle a go and see how that works out and put Jeff in a feud with Mr Anderson. He's also a babyface but definitely works better as a heel, plus I have too many main event faces with only Bobby Roode, Bully Ray and Jeff Jarrett on the heel side along with Angle so one more heel would even it out perfectly.

Good idea getting rid of some of the people they've got on the payroll . and Styles and Angle are a great feud, when I had those two feud they got great quality matches, interested in reading how they do for you. Hardy and Styles I see as being good as well. --- I went the TEW route as what you were doing was interesting me so I got a job with a promotion named squared Circle Wrestling who is popular in the tri-state area, I'm trying to get them popular everywhere else. When I joined they had one show a year so I gave them a weekly event and I am negotiating with TV Networks to get it on TV, I usually get aroudn 400 people in attendance for shows. They also had no referees, announcers, or road agents so had to hire them too

Heh, yeah, it helps setting my respect level to the maximum, I can go where I like. Good plan with starting from the bottom, it's hard but satisfying when you get it right (unlike my last attempt). One thing I like about EWR is the ability to create your own promotion after something like two years as booker elsewhere, I did that once I took WWE about as far as it could go and built my own promotion from the ground up. That was a lot of fun. Oh yeah, while we're on the topic of TEW and EWR, the dude who created the games does a developers journal for every new game he releases and with TEW 2013 coming either late this year or early next he's done one for this game. Basically he posts one new feature from the game every day and has been doing so for a couple of weeks now, it's well worth a read - www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=517331*edit* Had my first show, which was a success: My only error was that Chavo was supposed to win the TV Title but I forgot to make it so, never mind. Hardy and Aeris have really good chemistry which helped their match, and if the sodding womens match had been better (those two don't click) I would have got an A rating. No matter, off to a good start which is the main thing.

No matter, off to a good start which is the main thing. Ya, a few years back I tried to start my own promotion but in the end didn't have the time nor patience and back then had to share a computer with my siblings so I wasn't always on, but I may try it again as it would be an interesting challenge. Ah, I saw that last week the game does look very promising and I'm against paying $40 for a game I play for 2 weeks then get bored of, but I have been playing a while and don't plan on quitting any time soon so may have to purchase it, just hope I can transfer my 2005 data over . I like the tribute shows idea. A feature I would like to see is a mobile version of this as the mobile gaming market is going strong and cloud storage, you pay an extra $5 or so to get the mobile version and save your game to their servers so you can play anywhere and if you update it on your phone it updates on your computer as well. I think in the end if they don't end up taking advantage of the mobile market the sales won't do too good, just look at zynga they refused to go into the mobile market and their company is suffering. A "B" not a bad rating I love how the attendance is "unknown" . I've made the same mistake you did and forget to specify who wins when I want a certain person to win, I like how EWR makes you pick a winner I think in TEW it should make you pick someone or make you pick a "random" option before going on. But you are having a good start --- Nothing to update really but TNA stole my top star and my top announcer so screw them. I'm gonna go check up on EWR now ;D --- I quit squared circle wrestling , currently unemployed and looking but the only one hiring is squared circle wrestling

What made you quit out of curiosity?
Gonna play TEW in a sec, I've got Xplosion to run and then contract negotiations with Shawn Michaels. I'm hoping to tempt him out of retirement.

I'm hoping to tempt him out of retirement. umm .. let's just say I took a big risk that back fired on me I basically did what you did, but I didn't go bankrupt. In an attempt to get more popular in the united states I hired Edge, Scott Hall, Scott Steiner, Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley and sean waltman. And apparently no one liked them as the show bombed and got an F oh well. I still had 500,000 dollars left but at that point I said "Screw you, I'm going elsewhere" and left ;D. Still waiting for something to pop up. And in my defense the federation was dead to begin with, they had 10 workers they were paying roughly 30,000 per appearance and they had 1 event per year, I got them a TV deal that only attracted 50 viewers, they were dead to begin with Good luck with Shawn Michaels, I tried to get him to 2CW and was so close but he wanted so much and I didn't want to pay him 60,000 per show, so said screw it and walked the other way.

Heh, I don't blame you for walking, of course the same happened to me when I bought in Edge and still had only 85 people in attendance. I had more people turn up to watch me sing one time and I didn't get paid $4,000 for it. I've just done Xplosion, got a solid B rating for it. The only letdown was Xdivision champ Zema Ion defending against Jesse Sorensen, that bombed and again cost me an A rating. I'm gonna have him drop the belt to Austin Aeries and have him hold it until he's ready to break into the main event scene properly. I got Shawn Michaels in the end, thankfully for about half of what he wanted from you at $34,000 on a written contract too. I also snapped up Trish Stratus and John Morrison, the latter is in a feud with Jeff Jarrett.

Shame that the A rating once again escaped from you because of 1 match, why can't they just pretend that one match didn't happen? . Nice job getting Michaels, bastard cheated me , nice price too and a written contract surprised he agreed to that, Trish Stratus and John Morrison should bring in a few more people, who doesn't wanna see Trish wrestle? -- I'm still waiting no one is hiring.

Yeah, it's annoying because according to the dude who created the game the standard formula for any events final rating is something like 70% of the main event (which was an A), 20% of the second to last match (also an A) and then the remaining 10% on any other matches (a C- tag match and the Zema Ion E rating) so it's harsh to give the show a B. It's worthy of an A- at least. You're right about Trish, I've put her in a wrestling role but for some reason she wants to be a colour commentator of all things. No chance there, she's going straight in the Knockouts Division. Keep holding out for a job, you never know what could come of it. Failing that you could continue your WWE game

If that is the formula your show definitely should've gotten an A- , they ripped you off. a colour commentator? I don't see Trish doing that . ya I'm patiently waiting advancing to the next day sometimes looking at 2CW results and WWE results. --=----- While I wait for something to happen in TEW I went back to EWR and held Wrestlemania, which was my most successful show as far as quality goes. AJ Styles returned that day so was able to go with Angle vs Styles and the highest rated segment was well ... an interview with the Rock got a buyrate of 2.3 which is the highest buyrate I've ever gotten, so pretty proud of it . And congrats to the rock for knowing how to talk

That looks like an awesome show, shame a basic interview segment stole it really. I finally got an A rating for my show, I booked an all-out event: Jimmy Rave is going to become my next big thing, although as a heel he doesn't have many babyface lower midcard opponents so he's beaten that dude several times. HBK had a good debut but got attacked in his interview by Doug Williams, but HBK got some measure of revenge by attacking him during his match. I figured a World Title match would go down well which it definitely did, I overbooked the match to hell having AJ Styles attack Kurt and Anderson attack Hardy (again), eventually ending in a double DQ. The plan is to have Jeff defend against Anderson at the next PPV and Angle and AJ probably in some sort of gimmick match (I'm thinking submission but I'm not sure if AJ will be able to hang with Angle in that one), so yeah I'm thrilled with that show. The six man match was a letdown which surprised me, although it did say it was a letdown after the Extreme Expose featuring Brooke, Trish and Micke James so that backfired a little. No idea how I used Kid Kash too much either, he featured in one match just like everyone else.
