Thought it'd be somewhat interesting to see what people do. I'm in Sixth-Form studying Chemistry, Biology, Archaeology and Critical Thinking at A-Level (I dropped Philosophy at the end of the academic year) and whilst at Sixth-Form I work Saturday evenings 2~5-10 and Sundays 12-4~8 in a supermarket (Asda) either in the warehouse or stacking the shelves and whatnot. Pay's fairly decent considering I'm under 18 and it's keeps me in college. Though since finishing for the year, I've started doing forty hour weeks, which sucks because I can't really socialise since I never get early shifts and I end up sleeping most of the days that I'm off.

Same as you pretty much, minus the stuff that's going to get you somewhere in life. But yeah I also work in a supermarket, one of those last-ditch desperation applications as I really needed a job and not many places were hiring in my area. It's actually not too bad, I'm on the fruit 'n veg department and luckily I work with some pretty cool people to make it bearable. Like yours the hours also suck, I'm only contracted 12 hours a week but I regularly exceed 24 doing 1-9 shifts which are arse. I'm also taking the dreaded plunge and getting till trained for more overtime, the grand plan is to do a psychology degree most likely with the Open University, I obviously don't want to be stuck in a supermarket environment until I retire.

Pretty much the same as you, I'm at sixth form at the moment. Keeping Biology, History, Business & Economics + Gen Studs for next year as I'm going to drop chemistry. Planning on becoming a solicitor so wanting to do Law at university. I'm also working part time at Specsavers (opticians) on Saturday 8:30-17:00 and Sunday's 10:00-16:00. During the holidays im also doing full time which is all 9-5 shifts during the week which is no fun

I'm at university in Newcastle studying Economics. Going into my final year at the end of which I'll be applying for fancy titled jobs in London and various other major trading cities. As for the job, I work at St James on a match day as a team leader in one of the kiosks. I pretty much manage 6 staff who serve the hideous and overpriced food and drink while also looking after stock levels and till takings. I have a second job at the student union as a barman, pretty run of the mill bar job but tremendous banter as we're all pretty much student age. As it happens, I'm also doing a 3 week placement at Nissan, I completed a week a fortnight ago before the factory closed for the Summer Shutdown and will be doing the last two weeks starting Monday. It's a great job that interests me, doing production control which is basically organising how the production in the plant runs, ordering parts, chasing suppliers etc. I'm applying for a job there too next year as a back-up to my fancy job title dream haha.

I am in College and becoming a High School History teacher.
But, I work at a Wholesale Club. I am a Supervisor, and I pretty much do everything there is to do there. I don't like doing it but hey, it's a shitty economy and I'm thankful to have a job.

I work full time at a food distribution company, Bidvest, during the day. I'm more or less 2nd in charge there, I do anything from sales representative, to warehouse person, to delivery driver. As a part of that job I'm the Streets Ice Cream manager for my region which is fun, I get to go away for conferences etc a couple of times a year. Thats all during the day, at night I run my own catering business, cooking for weddings etc. It's a full on role, but I've just hired a full timer so I have more time to myself, all I have to worry about is the paperwork which I generally spend Sundays doing so it's not too bad.

I finished my university degree in Sports Journalism, graduating in November last year. After finishing my studies and before graduating, I finally moved out of my 10-year stint in the pub trade to start driving a van around the Isle of Wight every day, delivering sandwiches to supermarkets and petrol stations. It's actually quite a fun job and there's lots of fantastic people there.
Unfortunately I may be soon missing these people as I'm moving on before too long to become Assistant Manager at a pub again. The owners know it's mainly until I reach my goal of getting into football commentary and/or sports reporting on the radio though, which is something I really want to do with my life. I missed out on a role at Euro 2012 with Talksport which was a shame, but I'm keeping on applying - throw enough balls at enough coconuts you'll eventually win a fish after all.

My mother works as the section leader for the front end. Essentially as soon as I'm 18 I'll be getting till trained -_-
