Accidentally posted the first post early, why cant we delete our posts?
I'm posting a top 3 and why + some of the lyrics cause i'm so bored. Yes I actually typed all the lyrics in this post, cause people botch rap lyrics so bad their unrecognizable.
1. Hoodiez by Willie D feat. Scarface, Propain & D Boi This song is about Trayvon Martin, and all the Trayvon Martin's who die every day. I picked this song cause the Trayvon case is a big deal to me, and represents all the other Trayvon's who didn't get the notoriety his death did.
[Willie D] (Chorus) I got my hoodie on, they don't like that, they don't like that They checkin out my tats, just cause my pants sag, sometimes I wipe my flag, I think they jealous of me, them suckas hate my swag
[Willie D] I had my hoodie on, I aint did nothin' wrong I was walkin' from the store, tryin' to make it home, I was on the phone, talkin' to my girl, Next thing I know I'm being attacked he using racial slurs He pulled up in his truck, next to me slow I didn't know if he was a killa or a fed though, He hoped out his ride, he had that killa look, I thought about the Atlanta Child murders and I booked, I had em shook for a minute but damn I couldn't lose him, He shot me in the chest and the blood just started oozin' Daddy started to trip cause I still ain't came home, Momma please forgive me I tried to hang on He said I came at him, he said I look suspicious, Dude lyin' on me, that man a straight up bigot, Don't let him get away, keep up the pressure, I'm in heaven prayin' for all of ya'll guess what?
Chorus
[Scarface] I wish you would call yourself tryin' check me, I'm in whoever hood and ya'll are gon respect me, I am a Geto Boy for real, you get your ass got, For askin' me questions, if you my neighborhood watch, You took a shot and killed a kid, You gots to pay for what you did, It ain't no justice, it is JUST THIS, We seek protection for our children from this massacre
[Propain] Ok, Ok, Ok, Trill n****, thats forever G, I rep the hood, but intellegent, But your tellin' him, with this hoodie on I ain't safe around my own residence? I'm in my old school bumpin' UGK, candy paint, I'm movin' through the lanes, Comin' down on this groovy swang, like man what it do today? Grindin' tryin' to see success, my pants sag so I'm a suspect, Rest in peace Trayvon Martin, Stop slangin' dope, we had enough stress, For every hood, every block, time to make the world recognize, By any means like Malcom X, The revolution bout to be televised!
[D Boi] Got my hoodie on, it's like that, I'mma white cat, and I fight back, So I squabble and pummel these racist blue collars, And let the neighborhood watch, that, Willie D, thats my dude, but if he shot me in the chest today? He'd be, locked up on the spot, with the key thrown away! Say, fair is fair, and wrong is wrong, thats why D Boi hopped on the song, Whose more suspicious, a kid with skills, or a man with a firearm? Dog, a broken nose, lets be realistic, you was on the hunt for another statistic, You know that kid, was defense-less, summiss me with that suckafish s**t!
[Willie D] You could miss me? With the dumb s**t, I'mma stand my ground, I'mma let the gun click, You want justice? And that's whats up, you won't sweep this under the rug, We'll tear this motherfuck up, Justice department? Handle us, The reason, everybody standin' up, That could of been anyone of us, I'mma, 5th Ward cat to the bone, H-Town til the good lord take me home, The cowards lookin' for the easy targets, They don't wanna see the boys live off the market, A college worth, homestead, lil york, scotty gregg, west-belford, MLK, Heraldo Rivera, Shut Yo Face! Sanford police, check yo selves! Fox news, go to hell! Rush Limbaugh, you could eat the pickle, yeah I said it old fag!
Chorus
2. Kony [Freestyle] by Mistah F.A.B. This song is about the reality behind the Kony situation, and not the bullshit the media spreads. I picked this #2 cause I agree with it and am glad someone had the balls to say it basically. I f**king hate how people act like Kony is a big deal when we have so many problems of our own to deal with. I see Kony as a f**king gangsta who is actually feeding these kids. What's worse, starvation or rape? Starvation by a mile. And America only wants him dead so they can be the heroes and nobody will notice them stealing their oil. f**k that s**t.
[Mistah F.A.B.] "I know invisible children...i'm talkin' kids that die in my city... those that get killed for violence, it's silence, but nobody can silence that, so while we worried bout whats goin' on in other countries lets worry bout where I live at!"
[Mistah F.A.B.] "You say this goin' on s**t this been goin' on for years, It's been happenin' in many countries in Africa kid! From Uganda to Rowanda, to the Congo to Sierra Lionne and any other places that I go. From Algeria to Liberia to Morrocco, to Egypt to every other city where the glocks glow."
[Mistah F.A.B.] "100% of your donations is goin to nation, Ok, so why ya'll still doin' feed the children commercials with flies all over they face? Little dudes is skinny but still fat cause their ribs stickin' out Its nothin to eat, so imagine that While this white man walkin' around with clothes and he feelin' good Holdin these babies up on his lap like it's real hood Like it feel good, if you that hungry, if you that interested won't you give up your money? You filmin' commercials they out there really in it hurt though, but this is what you talkin' bout."
[Mistah F.A.B.] "Kony ain't even in Uganda, he's gone! He not there, ya'll just want the natural resources and oil So you can kill him and then have a reason to coil So people won't say "Aww they killed that man!" Propaganda blew up, the whole media expand So it won't be crazy when you manufacture this assassination So when they kill this man and this nation Other nations wont try to take a stand and you can get away with it Deploy, then employ, new people from your land, open up an American embassy, and take over the whole land."
[Mistah F.A.B.] "And these people so fooled, media, twitter, facebook, They don't even know this n****, So now they try and blow up this n****, But ya'll gon try and knock this man down, for how I take a stand!"
3. Believe by David Banner feat. Big K.R.I.T. The song is about David Banner & Big K.R.I.T.'s shared love and loyality to Mississippi. I picked it cause it can be applied to any kind of love and is pretty much how I feel about love. f**k the romance, gimmie someone who'll be and stay loyal.
[David Banner] Banner when you coming back, tell me when I ever left I got you tatted on my spine, You on my mind and at every breath Have I ever went on tv and not called your fuckin' name Yeah I slept with other dames But my love for you don't change Give a f**k what haters say, Bitch go drink some Gatorade Bitch I get that money too, never would all in your face, But when I'm gone, I'm getting cash, While them n****'s on they ass, Fat as f**k, fallin' off, I keep my foot all on the gas, Keeping my hand all upon the grain God in my heart, money on my brain I got a little money but my heart didn't change I bet a motherfucker gon respect your name Don't smoke that much, ain't on that dust Keep that Hen all in my cup Take my fingers, twist them fucks, Say your name and throw it up
You always on my mind, when I'm on the road Doing shows, puttin' it down, For me and you, I remain true I represent till I'm under ground, You'd do the same with your cyber chainz Hug your curb, while the caddy swang on them f**k n****s that ain't f**k with you Cause of your past, until I came in your life I ain't ashamed to call you my wife All these other hoes be trife Ain't no secret, I be creeping, but I dedicate my life To your warm embrace, skin softer than red clay Heart beat like a 808, in my old school when I pass the base Rep this here all in they face, proud to say you in a southern state, of mind Ain't no other worth, my time When I sent ya out, you shine, For the world to see that you was meant for me and I love you so Mississippi, I'm forever with you, through thick and thin, I just need to know, do ya
[David Banner] Why they wanna talk about us, they never really gave a f**k about love They never really gave a f**k about you, a f**k about me The S to I P, The J to A, C The D to A, V, I, D, B, A, Double N, E, R Rollin' up 55, with a split cigar, All of my folks yellin' you can't make it n**** I did though for my kin folks Can't crush my heart, it's been broke In your river I've been soaked, When I hear your name it gives hope Don't smoke that much, ain't on that dust, Keep that Hen all in my cup Take my fingers, twist them fucks, Say your name and throw it up
