So with Oculus and Hive either available or nearly available and with Playstation VR a few months away what are your opinions on VR? Will you be getting into it? Perhaps you have already, in which case I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Me, I'm most interested in the HTC Vive, which is manufactured with Steam in mind. The PSVR is rumoured to be usable on both PC and PS4 which would definitely make it a front runner for me if this turns out to be true, as it is by far the cheapest of the three main headsets. The Oculus I have no interest in whatsoever, especially with Facebook integration mandatory I hear.
I basically want a headset which at one point in time will be compatible with a lot of games I already own, which I think the Vive and PSVR will achieve. The Oculus currently only has support for its own handful of titles, but this could change. As for when I take the plunge into VR it almost certainly won't be this year as all three headsets are obscenely expensive, and of course I want to see for myself whether VR is here to stay or another gimmick like motion controls.
Where do you stand with VR?

Oh yea, I am very interested in VR and is something I plan on investing in real soon.
But they are very expensive, I too am looking at the Vive because of the steam integration, but is a whopping $800. If the PSVR will be compatible with PC like it's rumoured than I will of course grab that one, but I'm not sure if it'll interact with Steam as well as the Vive would since the Vive is made for steam.
I think The Forest would be awesome to play in VR, I already piss myself half the time, so I would be pissing myself a lot xD.
But like you said I want something that will be compatible with at least most of my games, and the games I get in the future. I think the Vive has the greatest chance at that. But I'll wait a little while and see what direction the PSVR goes.
