Well, I was going to write this long post about the Playstation VR. But I have work in 10 minutes, so decided to get a video instead xD It looks pretty cool, I don't like how the PS Camera is a requirement but I already have one so It's not a big deal for me. The price is really high, but by the looks of it it may be worth it. The VR is $400, cheaper then the Oculus Rift (600), but the PS4 is a requirement which will cost an extra $300. Again, I have a PS4 so that's not a problem for me. The move controllers are a requirement (I don't have those) but I believe if I heard correctly the PS4 Dualshock controller will work for some games. I was curious, is anyone here interested in checking it out? I'm definitely interested as I think it could be the future of gaming, but that price point is really high (which is to be expected). It'll be a while until I am able to afford one .

Aw man, can't feel up VR Boobs with the move controller!
In all seriousness though, a good idea is to see how the VR thing goes when the Oculus and all other VR things are released as f**k knows how this fad is gonna go. Could be the next step for gaming, or it could go the way 3D did (I mean like 3D movies), you know one thing that used it and was really good and started the fad but other things that used it the 3D effects were just afterthoughts.

I highly doubt this will be nothing more than a niche. Especially when people start losing eyesight because of it.

I dunno, 3D movies are still popular in the UK at least, I saw Jurassic World in 3D and the cinema was packed; I think it's a gimmick that'll be around for a while. As for VR in general, I'm definitely interested but I probably won't go for Playstation's version. I watched that trailer for it earlier today actually, and while some games look impressive most don't and remind me of how disastrous Kinect turned out to be. I want a headset which works with what I already own, like GTA, Minecraft, Advanced Warfare and so on, which with a bit of modding is possible with the PC VR headsets - Oculus and Hive, both of which are obscenely more expensive than Playstation VR but will, in time, probably work with what I already own (particularly Hive which has Valve's backing) which I tihnk won't happen with Playstation VR. Even then the prices are off putting, I'll probably wait at least two more years before trying VR, if it's even still around.
