This is going to be something crazy, considering the fact that I'm advertising but not for an efed... I'm actually here to ask for help with a kickstarter project to help raise money so that I can get the dream of owning both my own wrestling promotion and restaurant off the ground. This is something that, while done a few times by other people, is something that I'm looking to do successfully. By that I mean, I still want to have the attendees get the chance to enjoy fine dining while watching exciting wrestling shows, but I also want to be able to film live events and stream them on a website (similar to WWE Network, only better). I plan on doing weekly live events to bring in some serious revenue, as well as DVD sales and other merchandise sales. Anyway, the kickstarter is looking for as close to 250,000 as possible however we can make it work with 50% of that and I can hit up banks and investors for the rest. As it stands, I've made contact with Bill Behrens and Matt Classic (booking agents) who have passed along the news of this to some of their talent, and I've already talked to some names as well. Jim Duggan told me that if this thing starts kicking up steam, then I very well could have something here. And while he can't wrestle as well as the high flyers of today, he would still be willing to discuss rates with me if I can make this a thing. If we can show that there is potential here, then investors will definitely come in abundance and so would sponsors and others. Anyway, instead of me rambling here's the Kickstarter Link. In it, you'll see what the rewards will be for each pledge that you give. Click Here

Fine dining and wrestling, that is a very interesting idea. I always tell people to follow their dreams, this is clearly yours. So I pledged $20 (wish I could do more) to help you achieve your dream. Hopefully it helps in some way. Good Luck!

The goal is to make it similar to a comedy house, only instead of comedy you're getting live wrestling every Saturday night. I intend on using the "dining" tables for ringside seats (so it will limit random people standing up in your way) and use bleachers for just viewers who don't exactly want to eat while they watch their wrestling.

I think it sounds like a fantastic idea personally, and done right it could be HUGE. There are restaurants about with wrestling memorabilia or replaying old shows, but including live wrestling really can't be all that common - some may say there's a reason for that, but personally I say it's probably because nobody has had the bollocks or the nouse to get it right. I will pledge a bit as soon as I have some money - my 7 month old daughter and 33-year-old wife tend to take most of my pay packet with them but yeah I will definitely do what little I can mate - it could be awesome!

Another thing, given the time table we'd like to get things rolling and the rumors going around that he's not going to resign due to his lack of faith in the WWE; I'd really like to get this ball rolling so that I can make a play for Wade Barrett when his contract expires. I think a name like that could help draw initial recognition, so long as we build a proper roster that he can work with.
I know, bad idea to build around one guy but he is a recognized name and there are plenty of Nexus and Corre fans around so why not cash in?
