Here are my picks:
Action
Mass Effect 3, unfortunately because it's the only game from this category I've played. I'd probably still pick it over anything else though, the action in Mass Effect 3 is immense.
Artistic Achievement
Not played any of these games unfortunately, Borderlands 2 I guess based from videos and pictures I've seen.
Audio Achievement
As above, can't really pick a winner.
Best Game
Between mass Effect 3 and Walking Dead for me... Mass Effect 3, just.
British Game
Need For Speed definitely, really enjoyable game on the whole.
Debut Game
Not played any of these.
Game Design
The Walking Dead for this one, really well put together game where the choices you make really do matter.
Family
Lego batman 2, really fun game for the kids.
Game Innovation
Not played any in this category again, Wonderbook based on what I've seen though if it's as good as it looks/
Mobile & Handheld
New Star Soccer is excellent, i highly recommend that.
Online - Browser
Only played Runescape and even then not since they overhauled it, so that by default.
Online - Multiplayer
I don't play online, plus the one game that I have (Guild Wars 2) isn't nominated.
Original Music
The Walking Dead, excellent soundtrack.
Performer
Dave Fennoy (Lee Everett) - The Walking Dead, awesome performance from start to finish.
Sports/Fitness
Trials Evolution, even though I've barely played it. I'd pick Football Manager 2013 if it was nominated.
Story
Mass Effect 3, I know they messed up the ending originally but full credit to them for listening to their fans and changing it. Plus the last hour is by far the greatest gaming experience ever for me.
Strategy
Football Manager 2013, tough choice though as for once I have played most of the games nominated in this category.
BAFTA Ones to Watch Award in association with Dare to Be Digital
No idea who any of these developers are yet.
