I suppose it's because it's still relatively new, but then again MW3 is 50% off. I dunno, maybe because it's still a good seller at full price.
Today's deals are once more nothing to shout about, I can't even be bothered to list them. Only ones worth getting are the Batman games and maybe Hotline Miami if you like top-down shooters with a lot of violence.

Indeed, anything half-decent is only coming up at 33% off or half price at best, like I want the Xcom game but it came up on the flash deals the other day at 33% off which is useless - another retailer has it at just short of £14, even if Xcom was half price on Steam it would still be £15.

Payday is 75% off, you know what to do. If not, I'll cut you with a spoon

Whoops, must have missed it. <_<
Decent games today I think, Doom 3 BFG, all the Orcs Must Die! stuff, FarCry and Mount & Blade on sale. The flash deals are good as well for the next few hours especially for strategy enthusiasts, Sins of A Solar Empire Rebellion and Endless Space are both on sale for just short of 11 hours as I post this.

I did get Far Cry 2. This sale wasn't as I expected it to be, tbh.

The sale runs through until the January 5th, so there's still time to maybe find something you like. I agree though it has been a bit pants, but I think a lot of that is to do with Steam giving us three sales in the space of about four months - a lot of the deals are identical to what we've seen already this year.

Some of the choices have been odd, such as Train and Farming Simulator 2013 being in the same community choice poll. To be fair, I think I got some games I'll probably won't end up playing, haha

Haha I've tried to avoid that, but I did pick up SimCity 4 which I most likely won't play much as the new one is out in two months. Like in the last two sales I bought this lot and have either not played them or played less thn an hour: Beat Hazard (15 minutes played) Deus Ex: GOTY Edition (half hour played) Deus Ex: Invisible War (not played) Dreamfall (not played) Gary's Mod (7 minutes played) GTA IV (28 minutes played) GTA Episodes From Liberty City (not played) GTA San Andreas (23 minutes played) The Guild II: Renaissance (8 minutes played) Hotel Giant 2 (6 minutes played) The Longest Journey (19 minutes played) Metro 2033 (22 minutes played) Mount & Blade: Warband (42 minutes played) Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey (16 minutes played) Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus (2 minutes played) Overlord (34 minutes played) X-Tension (not played) X2: The Threat (not played) X3: Albion Prelude (not played) X3: Reunion (23 minutes played) X3: Terran Conflict (not played) X: Beyond The Frontier (not played) Zombie Driver (17 minutes played) I have 86 games on Steam, 23 of them have been played for less than an hour or not at all. That's 27% of my entire Steam collection.

Thing with Garry's Mod, is that to get the real fun out of it, you need to download custom ragdolls, etc. Though I'm pretty terrible at ragdoll posing, haha. There's multiplayer modes other then the free play thing you have in single player, haven't tried but personally.
Played 16 hours of Metro 2033, it happened to be one of my first steam games, I quite enjoyed it, one day I might go through it again, trying not to kill anyone for the good ending. Can't wait for Last Light.
Sometimes you can't really help it, you buy a game play it for a bit, then go back to playing something else and forgetting about it

I have no money, so won't be buying anything I just hope nothing good goes for sale Spoke to soon, just checked. Alan Wake Franchise in 75% off, which I want Fable franchise 75% off, I want that too the day they decide to put things up there I want.

I was plesently surprised that Lost Chapters was on Steam, got Fable 3 when it came out on Steam. Hopefully something good will appear on the flash deals, or Secret World appears on sale cheaper then it is currently

Tropico 4 is on the flash sales, it's an amazing city builder/economy simulator. I bought that and the Modern Times DLC, put about 40 hours into it and have yet to play the DLC it's that long, well worth getting in my opinion. Also I strongly suggest getting Xcom if you can, it's only popping up at 33% off on the sale so you can probably get it cheaper elsewhere but it's an incredible game. What makes it stand out is that the soldiers you have are permanently dead if they get killed on the battlefield, and you can customise all your soldiers so it can get very personal if you want it to. So far my girlfriend and her friend have been killed in action, she's not best pleased.

Should've given them more dakka (firepower). I got Tropico 4 some time last year, haven't exactly played it much (3 hours). I've been thinking about XCom, but not really sure as I've never played the earlier ones, how is it compared to the old ones?
