Well, you knew it was coming. They're not giving a whole lot away as you'd imagine at this point, but some key points include: - New game mode 'Football Manager Classic" or FM-C, which is essentially FM Lite if you will. The game takes away all the aspects of the game that take a while to sort out, stuff like individual training regimes for starters. The idea is that people can blaze through a season in 8-10 hours so they can spend more time attending to the inconveniences of work, school and a social life, but it should also be good to new players who don't really understand the full extent of the game. - Updates to the graphics engine, no screenshots or gameplay videos but they seem quite proud of this one, more on that when we know about it. - The usual minor updates to training, team talks and this year press conference also have the calm, aggressive or passionate tones to them in the same way that team talks do at the moment. They reckon there will be 900 changes made to FM13, but as always most of them won't be noticeable. Just enough to warrant the £30 release price. No news on a solid release date either, all they said is "before Christmas if possible." They've always finished development well before then, so expect it to be late October or early November.

I'm getting it for Christmas from my parents, it's what I ask for every year. Due to the bugs and how crap it generally is on release I never buy a Football Manager game straight away, so I ask for it for Christmas and then await the January transfers patch followed by the bugs patch a few weeks later.

For sure, it's eye-watering seeing how many hours I've sunk into the series over the years. Easily in the thousands.

Technically no. In the older games your save used to corrupt after a certain time, I made it to about 2030-something in Football manager 2008 before it happened to me but even then it somehow came back after I tried it by chance one day. From there I had four or five versions of the same game saved as they kept corrupting, but I don't think that's happened at all since the 2010 version. So basically the game only ends when you get bored of it, or when you buy the next game in the series.

How are the technologic advances in soccer in the future Assy?
Edit: Do you end up replacing your entire team with androids of your best players?

Haha, unfortunately nothing really changes, I've heard in some games certain things change (like Australia switching from the Oceania Confederation to that of Asia, which they've since done in real life) but sadly not much else by the time you get to 2030 or so. Nobody dies either before you ask, they simply retire and are removed from the game.

Hardcore, how is it? Does it have many new features compared to FM2012 (assuming you played it)?
