Source: www.wrestlezone.com/news/259679-exclusive-wwe-institutes-new-rule-concerning-matches-taped-for-saturday-morning-slam___________________________________________ Headlocks are "to violent" are you kidding me? I understand the dangers of it but really? I can see these matches featuring "Punch Punch Kick Kick, bodyslam , pin" I'm sorry but it's not wrestling without headlocks, highschool wrestling even has headlocks. I know I'd be telling my kid "you're watching someone give someone a headlock? That's too violent you're grounded" , I understand it's aimed for kids but I see many kids at Highschool wrestling events and they are constantly in headlocks, really WWE?

Haha, I can sort of see why this is happening though. Kids still imitate wrestling moves despite all the warnings, I'm sure most of us have staged a wrestling match at some point or another in our childhoods but as anyone who's been in a proper fight knows a headlock is one of the easiest ways to end it quickly. Of course if you squeeze or twist too hard you can do a lot of damage, so I guess WWE don't want to be responsible for that if some kid paralyzes his brother with a rough headlock and saying "I saw John Cena do it."
But yeah as you say Justin in wrestling a headlock is important, it's a great way to keep a match flowing and handy when one or both guys needs a few seconds to catch their breath. I really hope it's not removed completely, a piledriver is one thing but that's a bit much.

Yes, the part about the brother and kids imitating moves (I've done it with my siblings and friends) I understand but by canceling "Neck moves" they cancel the RKO, Brogue Kick, GTS, Pedigree, Superkick, most superstars finishers involve the "upper body" which is what they are canceling, so I really don't see this show being very successful as most superstars won't be able to win with their finishers which won't be very exciting.

Censoring things because parents are bad at raising their kids is a terrible idea.

Censoring things because parents are bad at raising their kids is a terrible idea. they act like parents don't say "f**k" or "s**t" or "ass" near their kids (some don't but most do , and people on the street as well) , no need to censor it

Had me worried, Justin. For a minute there I thought this was going to apply to WWE in general. Kind of a pointless rule though since I'm sure some of these kids watch the other programs where you can still see headlocks.

A half an hour wrestling show on Saturday morning is going to be crap anyways. Even when you have an hour the most time you're going to have for is three matches tops. This is likely just going to be a Squash Program. That said, no excuse for the ban but I'm not surprised. Parents don't want to discipline their kids and businesses don't want to deal with stupid parents who don't want to discipline their kids.
