What have been your favourites?
The undisputed best gig I've ever been to was Fozzy, in fact I've seen them twice and they've both had their pros and cons. The first time was awesome because they played a wicked setlist, but I got crushed and some skinhead bellends hurt my girlfriend trying to push through to the front. The second time was better overall because even though the setlist was weaker (they played way too many songs from Chasing The Grail) there were less people and the atmosphere was much, much better all around.
Other than that British band Forever Never were excellent when I saw them support SOiL and headline the same event about a year later, and Skeletonwitch were awesome when they supported Chimera a couple of months ago.
Here's a fact for Manic, I've been to see Fleshgod Apocalypse twice and neither time did they play. The first time they got stuck in France with passport issues, the second time they made it to the venue but had technical problems and their timeslot had finished by the time they'd sorted it. It's one of those things that's never meant to be seemingly.

By far, Gaslight Anthem, my favourite band, was the best gig I ever went to. I'm going to Birmingham in October too and I CAN'T WAIT. A very honourable mention goes to Jesse Malin who I've seen twice in Newcastle in the tiny venue that is Academy 2. It's always a great venue for these smaller gigs. I also loved seeing Josh Ritter. I went with the girlfriend of the time to see him in London, we got there super early and were front row but she feinted soon after the support. - I tried taking her home but she was having none of it so we ended up at the back, was still an amazing gig, I've never seen a band enjoy playing as much as Ritter and the Royal City band do.

Only one notable concert for me, was the trip to see Metallica! What an insane show that was! I had nose bleed tickets, but regardless we could still see absolutely everything clearly, the pyrotechnics and the performance was unreal

It's one of those things that's never meant to be seemingly. That sucks, I'd definitely put Fleshgod amongst my favourite gigs too 1. La Dispute + Touché Amoré (Leeds) Hands down the greatest gig I've ever been to. The Well in Leeds is one of the best venues I've been too, purely because of what it is - a converted pub. There was no security and no bannisters so the level of crowd-participation was insane. I think there were five bands on and a local band for £6 (considering La Dispute and Touché Amoré are my two favourite bands there wasn't a chance I was passing that up), there was a guy that did a backflip off of the doublestacked speakers into the crowd, we raided the stage on the encore etc. It was just a very energetic, fun and personal gig. Not to mention the bands spending more time in the crowd than on the stage. Oh yeah, I've also never been bloodier. The vocalist thrusted the mic. into the crowd for one of the chants and cracked me in the middle of the forehead, making it bleed, I got a bust lip from a flying elbow and a guy with beads in his dreadlocks bust my nose when headbanging 2. Foo Fighters (Milton Keynes) We drove from Durham to Milton Keynes for this (stopped in Nottingham for a night so see some family) and it was well worth it. Arguably the biggest rick band going right now they had an absolutely amazing setlist, and better yet they played a song with Seasick Steve (if we went the night before it would have been Alice Cooper). It's been the largest gig I've been to but was such a good experience. 3. Manic Street Preachers (Birmingham) My first proper gig (i.e. not one where I was stuck in seating) and I passed out because I wore some really thick clothing into the venue as it was fecking freezing outside After cooling down I pretty much loved every moment of it. Particularly Nicky Wire (the bassist) telling me to "f**k off" (He's the only one allowed to wear an army jacket ) 4. The Black Dahlia Murder (w/ Fleshgod Apocalypse) Honestly only got tickets to this for Fleshgod, but Skeletonwitch ended up being very good and TBDM just blew the other two bands out of the water. I'm not a huge fan of TBDM but they known how to get a crowd pumped. Though I did get a broken jaw because some twat with a cast on thought it a good idea to start a mosh pit. I'm all for a mosh pit but not when you've got a cast on one of your limbs -_- 5. Thin Lizzy (w/ Clutch) Yeah so the iconic frontman died before I was born, they were still really good. And Clutch are just all round entertaining (their bass speaker blew before their first song so the vocalist just kept cracking jokes, such as "Hey, we're Clutch and we're apparently professional musicians." or when someone shouted "We came for music!" his retort was "Yeah, so did we..."). Then of course Lizzy were brilliant, though it sucked that it was a seating only gig, and I brought the average age down by about twenty years.
