Always a popular topic. ;D www.speedtest.net/Simply click 'begin test' and you're good to go. That's about right since my Broadband is advertised as 'up to' 20mb, but I've always had testicular upload speeds for some reason. Also if you're wondering 'Ping' is online gaming related, the lower the better for that number. Generally anything under about 50 is all good.

one question, are we testing these on wifi or ethernet? on ethernet itll be faster. but heres my wifi test: I was getting 25 on wifi 2 weeks ago but i am being ripped of atm , on ethernet it is a lot faster

I like ethernet because of the speed of it, it's a lot faster then wifi, but I use wifi for everything .

To be fair, the laptop and/or ethernet connections normally yield results well over 20 Mb/s, but this PC has never much liked wireless even though it somehow seems to have magically stabilised itself.
