Also, Ty Burrell is quality in Modern Family. damn, yes, how could i forget him? that guy was a genius. one of the best performances i've ever seen , if i'm honest. GREAT play by him in the series, always, in every episode.. Well, I might be biased as Phil is my fave character, but i genuinely believe Ty Burrell didnt mess up one single time. Same with Nolan Gould, that kid will be one of the best actors in the game, you'll see Modern Family is my favourite TV programme I saw the trailer for it on holiday in Palm Springs in 2009 and have not missed an episode since

Yeah, me too , man. I've only found out about the show last year, but since then i've downloaded all 3 seasons and watch them , and s**t, that was the best series ever. As a whole, overall on series, it's only below Death Note as my favorite , but far above whatever my 3rd fave one is

I love DiCaprio's more recent stuff, ever since Shutter Island really. Christian Bale and Denzel Washington are also unbelievably good actors, shame Bale is a bit of an arse off screen

Bale deserves a mention for his roles in American Psycho, The Machinist and The Fighter.

Now I'm actually going to have to write the argument i am still waiting for this... FIIIINE. She gets by on her looks alone, and even then she's not THAT attractive. I could accept it if people acknowledged that like they do Megan Fox, but people genuinely think Portman's good and get ALL of her characters are wooden as hell and barely relate-able. She could not pull off Evey in V for Vendetta at all. In the comics I actually felt for Evey and all the s**t she went through because of Norsefire and V, and yet when watching the film I just didn't care. Portman cried, raised her voice a bit and then continued being nigh-on emotionless throughout the film - there was no major change in the character except for the haircut. The same goes with Thor, her character was horrible in that and the romance went from nothing into booming within seconds if you take it through the acting (admittedly Chris Hemsworth is also a pretty s**t actor so I can't completely blame Portman for that). And my hatred for Black Swan is well documented and not worth typing up again. So yeah, I just don't think she's very good at all. Still rather watch her than Nicole Kidman though. She makes me want to strangle children.

Bale is very good. I'm a fan, but not so much a fan of him as Batman. I like his Bruce Wayne, but not Batman.

Both those things, I think are the screenwriters' or the director's fault, not Portman's
