I'm not sure how many Banjo-Kazooie fans there are here, but do you think Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts ruined the Banjo Kazooie game series?
In my opinion I do believe they killed banjo-kazooie with this game, the introduction of "vehicles" was just a pathetic idea and they should've just stuck with how the game originally was, the only move kazooie has is she hits people with a wrench, you can shoot eggs but you have to have a cannon on your vehicle. I think they should have just stuck with the bird and bear go on an adventure by foot, collect jiggys, notes, and jinjos, and fight the witch. Not Bird and bear get in car, drive, do some stupid challenges, battle witch.
So do you think Nuts and Bolts killed this game series?

I don't think it killed it, at least not in the same way that Duke Nukem Forever killed that series.
With that said I didn't particularly enjoy the game either and also would have preferred an approach similar to the original games, but it was what it was and it does have a decent enough aggregate metascore. Hopefully for the next game they'll go back to their roots, but of course that would require the genius of Rare and that's a company that's on the brink of extinction, so I think the best we can hope for is maybe an HD remake of the original.

I've actually heard stories that that's what Banjo 3 (nuts and bolts) was suppose to be is a Banjo-Kazooie remake, same worlds, just different challenges to get Jiggies, then Microsoft stepped in and said "I want this" , but rumors or now circulating that that's what Banjo 4 (if they decide to make one) will be. but one can only hope, because I really hate that vehicle thing

I don't think it killed it, at least not in the same way that Duke Nukem Forever killed that series. I thought that DNF was good on my first play through of it, decided to play it a second time, got annoyed at how cheap the enemies are and your lack of health. But I think it's good in it's own way, but it isn't as good as 3D was, but hey at least it actually came out after so many years and engine changes. On topic: TBH I didn't even know that there was any other Banjo and Kazooie games other than the one on N64, but even then I didn't play it much back in the day. But how you're explaining how it, does sound a bit dumb considering how it was before

I haven't played any Banjo Kazooie games after Banjo Kazooie. Keeping the streak alive. Keep it that way , Banjo-Tooie wasn't that great either, so I'll tell you not to waste your time on Tooie or Nuts and Bolts.

I, for one, liked nuts and bolts, and not just because I'm a massive heel and superior to everyone on this site Banjo Kazooie, N&B, isn't a bad game, far from it, but it's a bad sequel. Personally speaking I think the series is due for an HD remake or a reboot, it's quite possible to do this so long as microsoft doesn't f**k it up too bad. The first two games were good though, yes, Banjo Tooie wasn't as good as Kazooie. Nuts and Bolts focussed on a physics engine based around building multiple vehicles with different functionalities, all customized and created by the player for whatever purpose. Forgive my language, but that was truck f**king awesome. If the game's engine and controls were tighter and a little more developed, and if the game starred some spunky half-anime brat and his big breasted naive sister then everyone would've universally ate it up. Then again Rare seems to be going downhill, they killed Perfect Dark, easily my favorite non-PC shooter of all time, and they haven't had a hand in Donkey Kong for a decade or so... Darn shame, honestly.
