Don't know. All he said was he's not officially retired. I'd like to see him have at least ONE win that actually matters in WWE before he does so, however. If possible. His run in the company has been horrible =/ It started out promising, and then the egos buried it as soon as they got him in the ring.
And the idiots out there who go, "If Sting wins it means that WCW was better."
What? WHAT? No, buying out the competition and showing their library on your own personal streaming network means you're f**king better! Not an ex WCW guy winning a match. Even Goldberg got to go over WWE guys and he was a WCW creation. They could have marketed this guy like a human action figure and they completely dropped the ball on it.

Agreed, Sting vs Triple H was shaping up to be a great story until it evolved into WWE vs WCW, then the writing was on the wall for who was winning that match - despite Sting supposedly fighting for a company that had been dead for nearly 15 years and had no current day relevance outside of their library which WWE was already merrily showing on demand anyway. And then for Sting to shake Hunters hand after being hit in the face with a sledgehammer...
Ugh, nothing good has come out of his WWE career, the only singles win he has is over The Big Show isn't it? And I'm fairly sure that wasn't clean, as you say he deserves one meaningful win which I doubt he'll ever get. Even if he does face Taker at Mania there's no way Vince or Hunter will let him win as it'll be another WWE vs WCW storyline.

Yea, I heard about Sting retiring a few weeks ago. It made sense since he did get hurt during his match with Seth Rollins. But I'm glad to hear that he isn't retiring and that there is still a chance of Sting vs Undertaker at WrestleMania 33

He won a tag team match against Seth on RAW and made him tap out to the Scorpion Deathlock, but that's about it. He was partnered up with John Cena, so I guess they'd give him that win since their boy is in there.
Sting: This isn't about WCW. Everyone Else: -makes it about WCW- -has the nWo come out to represent WCW even though they spent their entire lifespan trying to destroy WCW-

Welp, there's no confusion anymore. Sting is officially retired as of the 2nd of April.
