That was Charlie if memory serves correctly, he choked on a poisoned burger apparently. Me and Guilha still talk about that from time to time. That's it. Wonder if he really did die from choking on a poisoned burger or not though... guess we'll never know. Hmm, I often wonder that very thing myself. And I know Guilha does as well. Very surreal news that one was.

Shelby: The only member of the roster man enough to nail Carari Grey.
Yeah, she played Ted DiBiase Jr. and hooked up with Carari at one point. A man playing a woman fading to black with a woman playing a man. Funny.
Speaking of funny, anyone remember the finish to Money in the Bank at WrestleMania 2?
Okay, so, Ross came to me some time after Chris Jericho (Assassin) made his post and asked me who I thought should win. I said Chris Jericho because he was the only one in the whole bunch who didn't say he was going to do anything it takes to win the match. At the time I was very much for originality and if you came at a match from a different angle I never would've thought of then you won bonus points with me.
Ross was like, "Nah, his came in too late." Okay...
Then Randy Orton, Brett Unknown, and Josh Impact all got their RPs in so Ross comes back to me and says he has it narrowed down to Orton and Unknown and wanted me to help break the tie.
Remembering what he said last time I'm like, "Wait a minute, Ross, last time we talked you said Assassin's RP came in too late. These guys came in after his." "But theirs are better!" "I don't care - blah blah blah." "All right, fine, we'll give it to Kevin Kompiler!" Now at that point I should have said, "Now just wait a minute, Ross, don't blow a gasket, I'm just trying to understand your mindset here. If you thought Assassin's RP wasn't good why didn't you just say so instead of telling me it came in too late?"
Anyway, we get to WrestleMania. Match happens. It was Mike Vengeance, Doctor Cube, Kevin Kompiler, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, Brett Unknown, and Josh Impact. The outcome comes, "And your winner... KEVIN KOMPILER!" And then s**t hit the fan! Randy was pissed, Brett was pissed, Josh was pissed (and I'm not blaming anyone here because it was a clusterfuck at this point) I can't remember Kevin's reaction but I'm sure he was beside himself. Orton coming to me like, "What the f**k, Ayen?" So I explained it to him. And to sum it up it was still, "What the f**k, Ayen?" I tell ya, I felt like a real promoter, arguing with another real promoter who couldn't decide on a finish.
What I should have done was said Brett Unknown, wait for him to win, PM him and go, "You know, Brett, the winner of the Money in the Bank can challenge for any World title (in this case Universe title) they want, so just saying... you have options."
Just picture it. Friday Night Mayhem, DJ Hipp versus Chris Jericho/Mr. McMahon. Match ends. Brett Unknown comes out. Hits his finisher. 1! 2! 3! AND WE HAVE A NEW UNIVERSE CHAMPION! BRETT UNKNOWN! DJ Hipp would've nailed me to a piece of wood and hung me out to dry, and my last words would've been, "Worth it!"

First I'd heard of that... the only death I was familiar with was Luke McQuillan, who sadly had a heart attack during a school physical education lesson I believe. He was a decent kid too.

As far as Charlie goes, honestly, ask Guilha. He still has memories of that event. I hadn't thought about Luke McQuillan actually, but when you said about the PE lesson I remember hearing that, such a tragedy - genuinely nice lad.

I remember vaguely hearing about that, but it slipped my mind. Sad.
The Irish Connection/Black Hearts feud was great.

The red forum was Wrestling Generation if I remember correctly, that's where Assman , Your Idol , Buzzy, myself, Wes, Gawd etc all met in the first place - but it wasn't a site run by either myself or Assy. That site, as great as it was, started appearing to have some writing on the wall so I told people originally about KC's Sports Central, but when that didn't take off I created "D-Generation XX", and people slowly migrated over to that one Yes! Wrestling Generation. Thank you for jogging my memory! Hahaha, I remember my little tiff with GAWD. What a debacle. I can't recall what prompted the whole ordeal, but I'm like 90% sure it was totally his fault. Mac, do you remember who ran that forum? Seems like ages. o.o Anyhooser, I'm seriously disappointed we can't re-coop the old forum. God, those were the days! I remember towards the end of my run on the site, I gave up on e-fedding. Now that I've got life pretty much figured out, I have this weird itch. But, there's nothing that would compare to the amount of fun I had back on Friday Night Mayhem. Also, where the balls is Campbell?! Furthermore, DOES ANYONE REMEMBER HOLYMAN? That dude was the s**t, we had a fabulous angle that worked out and seriously kept me on my toes and clicking refresh like a madman. Good times, I would consider re-opening the fed if there's any genuine interest. But, at this point I feel like we're a bunch of geriatrics gathered up at the poker table recounting better days... Not that it's such a bad thing... Someone change my adult undergarment.

The Rebirth was so named because it was the second DXX site - a sort of "you took us offline but we are back" kind of thing - that was the significance of that anyway. Plus, put together, DXX: The Rebirth just sounded pretty good too. Other sites I've done I've spent days trying to coming up with a name - in the case of DXX and DXX: The Rebirth, I just saw the "Forum Name" field and went with the first thing that popped into my head. Pretty ironic really Should of gone with DXX: The DXXening

I remember Holy Man. Never really got to see him in his prime, but I remember his character.
